All Size Pallets | Heat-Treated Wood Pallets in Michigan

We are going to be adding a new wood pallet heat treating facility. So we are going to have two ISPM-15 certified heat treatment facilities pretty much going around the clock – giving you an idea of how fast our company is growing. We are happy to be growing that fast and happy to be having this good relationship with our customers.

The pallet heat treatment process is very important to international shipping these days, in fact, it is so important that it is required by law. The pallets need to be heat treated in a way that they are not going to be able to hold any type of invasive species. That’s really what we are trying to target are certain invasive species like the < href="http://www.emeraldashborer.info/">Emerald Ash Borer, which has really taken quite a toll on our local ecosystem here with regards to the ash tree. We are seeing a lot less of those now because of that. So, this policy and these requirements have been implemented for international shipping.

So, what we do is bring the core temperature of the wood pallets up to 133 degrees for at least 30 minutes. This is going to safeguard against any pests that might be shipped out to an international country. We make sure that we follow those guidelines to a T – it is very important to us that those guidelines are always met.
